Samana Developers
Samana Developers is the property development arm of Samana Group, a privately owned Dubai group led by founder and CEO Imran Farooq, who has headed the wider group since 2000. Its first project, Samana Greens in Arjan, launched in 2018, making it one of the newer names in the market. It closed 2025 with AED 7.1 billion (about USD 1.93 billion) in gross sales and 16 new project launches, which placed it fifth among Dubai's off-plan sellers for the year on Property Monitor and Bayut data.

What Samana builds
Mid-rise residential buildings of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, widely recognised for putting private plunge pools on individual apartment balconies; priced in the affordable to lower-mid bracket with long post-handover payment plans, concentrated in Arjan, Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai Studio City, Majan, Dubailand Residence Complex, Dubai South and Downtown Jebel Ali.
Samana's launch volume runs well ahead of its completion record: the company reports more than 50 launched projects against six handovers and just over 1,300 units delivered to date, including Samana Hills in Arjan in June 2022 and Samana Santorini in Dubai Studio City, completed on 16 April 2026. In April 2026 it said it was targeting six further handovers in 2026 and eleven in 2027. Most of its portfolio is therefore still unbuilt, and its delivery reliability is not yet proven at the scale it is now selling, so treat each building on its own construction progress and escrow position rather than assuming a track record exists.
